How do I prepare for my appointment?
You can find our pre-appointment instructions below.
Can I wear make-up to my appointment?
Yes, I highly encourage you to wear makeup if there's a specific shape or color you'd like me to take into consideration.

How do I know if I'm a good candidate for PMU?
You can find the list of contraindications below. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your health and qualification for permanent make-up or have any health conditions, please consult with your primary care physician first.

Why do you recommend the powder brow over microblading or other traditional techniques?
Powder brows is my go-to method for many reasons! It heals the nicest and the most consistent out of all other methods, it's suitable for ALL skin types, it lasts much longer than other methods, it's less invasive and it does not cause scarring. When investing in something long term & permanent such as permanent makeup, you need to think long term and aim to preserve the integrity of your skin.

I have old microblading done, can I still get Ombré Powder brows?
If you have old microblading or any previous tattoo work on your brows, you will be considered a cover-up/correction case. Depending on how saturated and the shape of your current brows, we may be able to give you Ombré Powder. We do cover-up/corrections on a case by case basis. If we aren't able to work with what you currently have, we will most likely recommend tattoo lightening prior to doing any cover-ups.
I have very oily acne-prone skin and was told I wouldn't be a good candidate?
It depends on the procedure you are seeking; this would be true if you were looking to get Microblading done, however, Powder Brows is the preferred technique for ALL skin types!
Does the procedure hurt?
Pain tolerance varies for everyone, but pain level typically ranges between minimal-mild. We do use primary and secondary topical anesthetics to help keep you comfortable throughout the procedure.

How long will my new brows last?
Ombré Powder typically lasts 1-3 years after your first touch-up without needing a color boost. We do recommend to get a yearly touch-up to keep the color and shape looking fresh.
How long is the healing process?
Recovery typically takes 7-14 days, but there is no down time. Your brows will completely heal in about 6 weeks which will be around the time you'll come in for your touch-up.
Do I need to get a touch-up?
Yes. Every new set of brows requires a touch-up 6-10 weeks post initial procedure. At your touch-up appointment we will assess how well your skin retained pigment, shape and color. We'll also be able to do minor adjustments during this appointment if needed.
How often will I need to get a Color Boost?
I recommend you come in for your first color boost 12-18 months after your touch-up. If you prefer to have your brows more on the lighter and natural side, then you may only want to come in once a year - it's all personal preference.
